Getting stuck in a cursed room, herding goats in outer space, experiencing an existential haunting, or picking up that one phone call that you've been warned not to answer...
These jobs are not your typical nine-to-fives.
They don’t offer 401K plans or health insurance.

This captivating collection of eleven stories invites readers into the mysterious and evocative realm of Sunnyside Cemetery, a fictional setting inspired by the real Elmwood Cemetery in Franconia, New Hampshire.
The cemetery serves as a backdrop in which each writer crafts their own tales that span themes such as curses, resurrection, lost love, a vast subterranean kingdom, and (of course) the animated dead.
Sunnyside Cemetery is a literary landscape where darkness and beauty coexist, inviting readers to journey beyond the veil of everyday life and explore the extraordinary tales that lie just beyond the gravestones.

Little Green Men is inspired by the Gernsback/pulp era of science fiction literature (1920s-1950s.)
If you fondly recall reading pulp sci-fi mags such as Amazing Stories and Weird Tales, you'll love this collection of stories featuring prison planets, exciting action heroes and, of course, the quintessential little green men.
We are still accepting submissions for this collection! If you are interested in participating please follow the instructions below.
Despite the title, your story doesn’t have to literally include little green men! We are looking for classic sci-fi.
Stories should be fun, adventuresome, and original, but must retain the early sci-fi “vibe.”
We prefer Word or google doc format. Please stick with a single font and please do not use page breaks, multiple font sizes, or attempt any "fancy" formatting. This just makes it more difficult for us to work with.
Submission criteria: Limit of 5,000 words.
Submissions must be received by July 1, 2026.
Please send your submissions, along with your name and address to strangemoonpress@gmail.com with Little Green Men in the subject line.
